My weekend is about to come to an end.

As I sit here with my daughter and husband already asleep while I blog and listen to the Road to Avonlea soundtrack on Spotify, I refer to a tweet I just made a while ago.

Gramps and I used to watch that show together.

I’ll get in to our relationship in another post.

Now, he’s one of my guides and communicates through nature and music most frequently for me.

I do miss him very much, as I miss all of my once living family.

But it’s nice to be able to connect with them in different ways that I am still exploring.

The end of this weekend brings to a close a very busy week.

I’ve been super busy at work and on Friday I got a call for a cancellation spot for a sleep-deprived EEG at the Hamilton General Hospital.

That meant that I had to stay up from Thursday to Friday after my appointment.

I was basically a zombie after that and slept all of Friday.

My husband studies part time and had an exam coupled with his birthday Saturday…

Happy Birthday Tim!

…and Mila has been sick and teething so I’m looking forward to a good sleep tonight.

At least I get all the snuggles!

Mila and I were supposed to go with Tim to Toronto today but we cancelled on him last minute so he went for a birthday cycle and came back.

He also brought us home some amazing food from Buddha’s Vegetarian Restaurant it’s on Dundas! and Mila and I devoured it when he got home.

Yum! So so yum! Try it you won’t be disappointed!

I am exhausted, too.

Taking care of Mila is fun but I feel it in my body lol.

I think I’m just getting old.

We did so much today even though she wasn’t feeling so hot.

She’s one and a half so life is rough, amirite? Lol.

She knows how to blow her nose and soaked up some warm sun before nap time this afternoon.

It’s rare to have such a windless and warm day in October in Canada so we took advantage of the weather today.

I think we recharged our batteries pretty well and I look forward to entering the week as refreshed as I can be.

Plus, that EEG was originally scheduled for February 2020 gasp so I’m glad it’s over with.

And I’m fine, they’re just making sure it’s just a vasolvagal syncope I had.

NBD. Lol.

It’s basically where you faint at “extreme triggers“.

It’s been a heck of a lot, and I’m excited for the upcoming weeks.

I look up to Tim in a lot of ways.

He works as a Trade Specialist Millwright full time plus overtime, studies, just took up Kendo, cycles and eats a vegetarian diet that he ought to write a book about.

Maybe I’ll help him one day.

But for real. He’s dedicated. And he cooks for Mila and I like a chef would, cares for us and helps me out a lot. I’m a lucky woman.

This week we have a lot more flexibility in our schedule and I plan on spending the majority of my after-work hours writing the Tarot readings I have booked for October.

I’m excited and nervous but I know it will be a lot of fun and I can’t wait to hear some feedback from the people I am reading for.

I had a long hot soak in the bath today coupled with some self care, which includes deep cleaning skin care and head-to-toe moisturizing.

Self care is super important. Treat yourself.

You know those salad boxes you get with spinach, baby greens – a mix?

They are 312 grams and I eat one box about every two to three days.

I’ve been eating it with other veggies, croutons, cubed cheese (sparingly) and Olive Garden Salad Dressing.

And the occasional Gardein Chick’n Filet which I bake the night before I go to work.

Oh yeah, I bring my salads to work! And dinner’s leftovers.

This girl likes to eat, lol.

They’re so filling and I’ve noticed such a glow within my skin since I started incorporating more raw veggies and water.

I’m already a vegetarian but it has definitely made a significant impact on my health and I can’t wait to do more to boost my body!

I hope you have a great week going forward, wherever you are in time reading this.

And if you are a person awaiting a reading – I thank you for your patience.

Talk to you soon.
